Herzzauber completed a very successful 100 day test in Adelheisdorf, scoring 129.9 overall (9th) and 132 (2nd) for the dressage portion of the testing out of 73 participants. In 2000 E.H. Herzzauber was bestowed the title of Elite stallion by the German Trakehner Verband based on his performance and his production record, until 2020 he was the only stallion to have left Europe to be given such an honor. E.H. Herzzauber himself has national placing in Prix St.Gorge/ Intermediar I dressage as well as being very successful in combined driving competitions, he is well know for having and producing offspring with supple/ elastic backs, powerful hind quarters and the best of temperaments. E.H. Herzzauber proved to be a successful sire from his very first foal crop when his son Adamello was name Res. Champion colt at the stallion approvals in Neumunster, Germany, in 1997 he was followed by another approved son in the premium colt Gucci and in 2000 another son Offenbach was also approved in Neumunster, in addition to many successful daughters including 1996 Trakehner champion mare, along with many premium daughters. He continued his successful production record in North America with the approval of Zulu MV in 1997 a very successful Hunter shown under the name of Plain Black.
